2. Scope of Services

  • Clearance of office furniture, including desks, chairs, and cabinets.
  • Disposal of electronic equipment such as computers, printers, and servers.
  • Removal of hazardous materials in compliance with local regulations.
  • Transport of items to designated recycling centers or disposal facilities.
  • Provision of necessary manpower and equipment for the clearance process.

3. Client Obligations

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the items to be cleared.
  • Ensure that access to the premises is available at the agreed-upon times.
  • Obtain any necessary permissions or permits required for the clearance.
  • Remove any personal or sensitive items that are not intended for clearance.
  • Set aside items requiring special handling or disposal as pre-discussed with the Company.

4. Company Obligations

The Company commits to:

  • Providing professional and efficient clearance services.
  • Adhering to all applicable laws and regulations regarding waste disposal.
  • Ensuring the safety of personnel and property during the clearance process.
  • Recycling or disposing of items in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Communicating any issues or delays promptly to the Client.

5. Pricing and Payment

Our pricing structure is based on the volume and nature of items to be cleared. A detailed quote will be provided upon assessment. Payment terms are as follows:

  • Invoices are payable within 30 days of the service date.
  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, and other agreed-upon methods.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in the invoice.

6. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel services with at least 48 hours’ notice without penalty. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total service cost.

7. Liability

The Company is responsible for any damage caused to the Client’s property during the clearance process, provided such damage is due to negligence or failure to follow standard procedures. The Company’s liability does not extend to incidental or consequential damages.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that all items for clearance are properly identified and that any prohibited items are excluded from the service.

8. Insurance

Our services include comprehensive insurance coverage for property damage and personal injury. Clients are encouraged to verify their own insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage.

9. Data Protection

We prioritize the confidentiality and security of any data encountered during the clearance process. All personal and sensitive information will be handled in accordance with data protection laws and regulations.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in accordance with the laws governing the jurisdiction of Blackheath.

11. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to unforeseen events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, or other emergencies.

12. Amendments

These terms and conditions may be amended at any time by the Company. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Blackheath is located. Any legal actions arising from these terms will be handled in the appropriate courts of this jurisdiction.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be in effect and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Client regarding the services provided, superseding all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
